With Changes Comes New Hope

I am glad to announce I finally had time to rethink the design of the blog and I came to the conclusion that this is the perfect design "for now".

Because as you all know nothing is "perfect" NEVER.
The design is focused 100% on the information the blog provides.

Do you like the new blog design?
Then leave a comment or send an email with your review.

Learning from the past to prevent the future

First of all I don’t have a bunch of people reading this blog because it is new in the blogging business.
But I am satisfied for now on how things go.

As some bloggers might know there is one thing that scares us every day.
The thought of my blog dieng hunts me every day.

There are a lot of people out there better than me with far more experience than me but I am doing the best I can to beat them and to bring original content.

I had my share of mistakes but I learned from them and I’m doing the best to improve myself.
So yes it is true, your blog can die even if you worked hard into it just because there are better sites out there.
You need to find a "steady stream of water" and with luck and dedication that stream can turn into a river.

Ok let’s analyze the things that can kill your blog.
Too many ads can kill your website because if the ads at some point are more than the posts you got a serious problem.
People come to a blog to find answers for their problems and not use a GPS to find your content throw all the ads.

It is important to interact with your readers because if you search a little, all the major blogs have the ability to post comments, read comments.
If you don’t answer their questions you are doomed to talk with yourself.

The internet is full of people that like to make fun and ruin other peoples work.
They enjoy ruining your work, so just ignore these people don’t pick a fight with these people because it is bad for your blog.
If at some point your blog lacks fresh articles people will stop visiting your website and your blog will die.

If you post too many articles you are going to eventually run out of stuff to post and you will lack fresh articles.
Also readers will have a hard time keeping up with your articles and eventually leave.

Try and find that balance between posting new articles and updating old ones that are obsolete

Do not equip your site with all those fancy graphics because it will burn the reader’s bandwidth and the site will run slow.

Try and focus on your content more than the blog/website look.
And no one likes a donkey site.
For example there are game websites that have a flash animation that has to load first before you can access the actual website.
You have to wait all day till it loads at 100%, I eventually get mad, close the site and look for another one.

Top 3 SEO Tips Of 2008

Since 2003 I've spent the first several months of each year looking for the very best search engine optimization (SEO) tips of the previous year's end. This year I've come across the best SEO tips yet.

SEO Tip #1: Make Google Alerts Your Personal Online Spy

Google Alerts is a great way to let the world's biggest search engine be your personal online spy. This takes search engine optimization insider info to whole new level. As of now Google is your own personal internet spy.

Ok so let’s start off with the title.

Make Google Alerts Your Personal Online Spy

Google Alerts is a great way to let the world's biggest search engine be your personal online spy. This takes search engine optimization insider info to a whole new level. As of now Google is your personal online spy.

"Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic.

Some handy uses of Google Alerts include:

* monitoring a developing news story

* keeping track of a competitor or industry

* getting the latest on a celebrity or event

* keeping tabs on your favorite sports teams"

By now you’re probably interested in "keeping track of a competitor or industry."

Here's how it works... Each time Google finds a reference to the query or topic you request you will get an email with the details. This is like having an online spy to make sure competitors are not using your protected keywords (trademarked names, company names, etc.) It's also an instant identifier to know when your site or product is mentioned in a news story or even when a topic is hot so you can take advantage of the situation. It's the easiest way in the world to stop competitors' dirty tricks and identify trends that you can take instant advantage of.

It's fast, free and works every minute of every day. Let Google Alerts (http://www.google.com/alerts) do your most time consuming legwork while you reap the rewards!

SEO Tip #2: Optimize Your 404 Page and Always Be Found

"Error 404: Page Not Found" is a blessing that most Webmasters curse. Why? Getting a visitor on any page of your site is fantastic! Don't blow the opportunity. Not only can you make your "404" page a valuable sales tool, you can use the following search engine optimization techniques to attract customers in droves.

A.) Use your main keyword in your title, add a "pipe" (usually above the Enter key) and then use your secondary keyword. Here's as example for an SEO site "SEO - Search Engine Optimization Tips"

B.) Add some keyword rich content using one to two keywords for the page. If you have less than 250 words on the page, just use one keyword and use it no more than three times total. Bold the first use and italicize the second or third use. Keep in mind this is an "inactive" page so simply tell the visitor what your site is about and whet their appetite with a good description. Something like this works well... "Thank you for visiting The Money Making (bold) Group, Inc. We are sorry you landed on a missing page but don't worry, if you're looking for the very best money making tips (bold), you're at the right place..."

C.) Add your site's standard navigation system (bar, column, etc.) as mentioned above.

D.) Make the look and feel of the customized 404 page match your main site as closely as possible with a template, matched palette, cascading style sheets, etc.

E.) Create a link to the site map page if available, and make the link easy to find. You want your visitor off the 404 page and into your main content as quickly as possible.

Setting up a custom 404 page links usually takes less than five minutes on most major Web hosting companies like Godaddy.com. But whatever it takes, it's worth the effort.

SEO Tip #3: Get (Even More) Serious about Linking

I saved the most important for last. If you want to do well on any search engine, especially Google, linking is THE single MOST important thing you can do. It's that simple.

Here are the five things you MUST do to make your site #1 on Google:

A.) Find the highest page rank sites linking to your site AND your competitors' sites.

B.) Run monthly link campaigns and snatch up the best of the above identified Web sites.

C.) Run regular checks on what pages are still linking back to your site. Also make sure they did not move you from a high page rank page to a lower one.

D.) Eliminate any penalized sites you link to; ASAP!

E.) Check your search engine ranking AND your competitor's for each of your keywords every week. Do this, at the minimum, for Google, Yahoo, MSN and Alta Vista.

Inside Tip: Keeping up can be a lot of work so a lot of SEO Consultants use SEO Elite (http://www.SEOeliteWeb.com) to do all the most difficult and time consuming work.

One last thing to know is that Google was originally a college student's project created for the sole purpose of defining a Web site's value by the sites that link to it. Twelve years later this is still its main job. Linking is EVERYTHING to Google.

These few tips can get your website up the ranks.

Good Luck

[Guide]E-Bay Succes Tips

Last year alone, millions of people made a profit on e-bay. Some were just selling odds and ends, while some ran huge businesses exclusively on e-bay. The amount of commerce done on the internet is only expected to increase, making prospects for e-bay users bright. You very well may be one of the people who have discovered the great benefits of making money from e-bay auctions. I myself have been an e-bay user for a little over a year and have had great success with my auctions.

A friend I know started selling stuff on eBay, it started out quite rocky.

So, he called me up asking me for tips on how he should increase his profit.

So, I compiled a list of things that people can use and you can implement them into your own auctions.

The funny thing is, the methods I use are not some internet guru secrets. They are just things I picked up during my time using e-bay, but seem to be overlooked a lot of the time. Here are what I have found to be the top 7 overlooked tips for successful e-bay auctions:

1. The Importance of a Good Title- When you're creating a title for your auction, you've gotta think like a buyer. When I checked my friend's listings, she had a beautiful, brand new brown patchwork Coach purse titled as 'coach purse'. This is way too general! A buyer knows what they want; in your title, include color, any brand name, main keywords that people will search, and condition is possible. I changed her title to "Brown & Beige Patchwork Coach Purse-Brand New". By the next day, it had over 100 new hits. Previously her auctions were hardly even reaching 100 hits throughout the whole 5 days.

Another mistake people often make is writing things like 'The best wristwatch ever!!!!" Even if you do believe you're selling the best wristwatch ever, is this really what a buyer is searching for? Of course not. Use a more descriptive, detailed title like 'Gold Armani Wrist Watch w/ Leather Band-New".

One more thing when it comes to titles: make sure keywords are included. For example, whatever the item you're selling actually IS, include that in the title. An example of a title I would use is:

"Brown Marc Jacobs Women’s Silver Stud Pumps Shoes"- I know that 'pumps shoes' sounds awkward, but many women will search for "marc Jacobs women’s shoes", and I want to be sure my item shows up in the results. Use these tips when creating your title and you'll be sure to see increased traffic to your auction.

2. Give honest descriptions- Sure, that stain, tear, or other defect may be sooo small that it's almost impossible to notice. Still, mention it in your auction. If you send an item out and a buyer realizes that the item has a defect that you didn't mention in the auction description, they will be disappointed and very possibly leave you negative feedback. Anyone familiar with e-bay knows that feedback is everything. It is what makes people feel comfortable buying from you and proves that you are a trustworthy, reliable buyer.

It's best to provide a photo of any defects so potential buyers can see what they're getting. And believe me, if you say that there's a defect but don't show a picture, people will e-mail you asking for some. I have sometimes had a defect so tiny on a shoe that I couldn't even get it to show up in a picture. If that's the case, say it! Provide a picture of the area where the defect is and also explain in your listing that it's so miniscule that you can't get it to show up in the picture. Buyers will trust you much more and be way more willing to buy from you in the future. You also won't have to deal with an unsatisfied customer who can damage your feedback rating and make future potential buyers hesitant or even completely dissuade them from buying from you.

3. Offer International Shipping- So often I see sellers who are providing great products but don't offer international shipping. Let me tell you- about 30% of my sales are to international buyers, and very often international buyers will pay more for products. I never understood why people are restraining their own sales potential by not offering international shipping.

Remember, the buyer is the one who pays the shipping, not you!! Even though international shipping is expensive, you are not paying it! And don't be discouraged thinking sending things internationally is difficult- it's super simple and not much different than sending things within the country. If you use USPS (the method I find most efficient for prices and service), you may have to fill out a short customs sheet that takes no more than a minute. Don't be lazy! Offer international shipping and see your sales soar!

4. Send a Thank You card with your purchase- You can get packs of black decorative cards from any general store, Wal-Mart, or even discount chains like TJ Maxx. Buy a couple packs and with people's packages, send a nice thank you card.

You don't have to write a dialog, just a simple "Name of Buyer Thanks so much for your bid! Enjoy your purchase, and I hope to do business with you in the future! Your Name or Business Name" If you want to really go all out and rake in some super feedback, include a small free gift. When I sell a pair of shoes I usually include a free headband or pair of earrings. If you'd like to try this out, try to find something that compliments whatever it is that you're selling. You could also include a little bag of candy or some tea light candles (go to the dollar store for great knick knacks and free gift ideas). Use your imagination to make your customers satisfied and loyal!

5. Offer combined shipping Buyers love combined shipping. If you offer a good combined shipping deal, and have more than one item they're interested in, they're ten times more likely to buy both items. Some people choose to determine combined shipping depending upon the two items the buyer is interested in, while others have set shipping rules. A good example is to charge $_.__ for the first item and offer to send the second item free, or for $1.00-$2.00 more. Usually the additional weight of the package isn't much so it's possible to offer combined shipping without losing any profit at all. Determine your own rates depending on the weight of the items you sell and the shipping service you use.

6. Keep communication with Buyers open and offer more pictures upon request. Of course in your listing you must include good pictures to attract buyers. Most people include 2-4 pictures per listing, depending on the size of the items and any special details you've got to show. I always include at least 3 pictures, and more if I feel the item needs more pictures of some detail it has that is unique.

Even though you have already provided your buyers with good pictures, it's helpful to write in your listing "Contact me with any questions or for more pictures. (with your contact info)" This is another method that makes buyers instantly trust you more and feel more comfortable placing bids. They feel that the communication lines are open and that they can get more info on the item if needed. And don't be discouraged thinking that you'll spend the whole day responding to e-mails requesting more photos; If you've already included good pictures, most people won't bother asking for more. Of over 50 listings where I've written this, only one person ever asked me for additional pictures. Check your e-mail though at least once a day to see if you've got any questions, people love quick responses and will reward you with good feedback for your effective communication.

7. Always use Delivery Confirmation- This is a biggie! Make sure that when you post your shipping costs, delivery confirmation costs are included so buyers aren't questioning the extra expense when they receive their invoice. Delivery confirmation is a cheap effective way to ensure both your own and the buyer's investment.

First of all, you do not want to get scammed. What? Scammed? Yes, it happens. I know that most of the scamming referred to on e-bay is about sellers who scam their buyers, but don't be naive; we sellers are also at risk. Although the majority of the e-bay community is good people who are just trying to conduct legitimate transactions, there are those rotten apples which make it hard for all of us.

The usefulness of delivery confirmation was brought to my attention by an acquaintance of mine who does some selling on e-bay. He sold some very high quality digital remote for around $250.00. He shipped the item using delivery confirmation, and after about a week told me he received an e-mail from the buyer saying she'd never received the product. She filed a whole complaint with e-bay and made a big fuss about it. GOOD THING he had the delivery confirmation number and was able to prove that the product had been shipped to her address. Don't let one of these scammers get a chance to cheat you out of your money.

Making delivery confirmation a requirement is also something that will make serious bidders trust you more and see that you're a legitimate business person who wants to secure shipment. Think about it; if someone requests NOT to use delivery confirmation, you can guess where their intentions are. The extra .75 is not breaking anyone's piggy bank, so don't feel bad about it.

There you have it! Use these highly useful yet highly overlooked tips to generate more traffic to your auctions and enjoy higher sale prices. To e-bay success!

Internet Money Making Scams and You

I find it real hard for legitimate people like me to survive because of all the internet money making scams out there that promise you will get rich in 10 minutes, 5 minutes etc.

People start to lose faith in the internet because of all those’ jackasses’.

So I really want to coach some of you to evade these kinds of scams.

It is true the internet could offer you the income to quit your job but as everything in this world it’s not easy.

As much as we all want to retire, get a nice girl and live life to the max, we can’t because we have to work hard in order to get to the top.

For example I used to think that taking care of bees is easy as drinking beer. Some people I know make some nice income from honey.

So I went to a guy I know and asked him how hard it is to take care of those little buggers.

For my surprise I realized that reality was different. Did you know that bee’s have flees or ‘diarea’ and that bee’s can die from both?

The same applies to the internet money making phenomenon.

Ok First Scam: Internet Survey Scams

These programs are advertised everywhere, I even tried one and I eventually quit because it was a waste of time and effort.

All you have to do is surf the web, fill out some surveys, answer some emails and they'll send you a check every month. (Ya right)

Oh and some programs want you to pay a fee in order to start surfing and make thousands of dollars.

Most of the time these companies scam you and if you want your hard earned money back you will get a headache and eventually quit.

I joined a program that was free, it was fine I started reaching 30$ then suddenly the offers stopped and they don’t pay till you get to 75$ and if you want throw PayPal they take 25$ from your check so it is bullcrap.

Scams with Google Ad Sense

People sell pre written content but what they don’t tell you is that if tens of thousands of people use the same stuff Google will ignore your content and your website will die.

So never use that stuff, start slow, write what you like and expect people to visit your website over time.

The Big Red Title and the smiling guy that promises millions in 10 minutes

So people come to the internet and Google ‘make money’ they go to a webpage with a guy smiling, a big RED title and a story that makes you cry about how he made 1mil in one day and he wants to share his secret with you. (Wow lucky you)

Most of the time he tells you to buy something and in return others will buy for you, he will build you a website that will help you recruit others and earn commissions but what he doesn’t tell you is that you need to buy a domain name if you really hope to sell what he offered you.

But after that comes the traffic problem so as you see it’s one big scam.

That’s it hope you people watch out and be more careful and document yourself before choosing to buy something.

One Small Step For A Writer, One Big Step For The Readers

Ya the title is a little cheesy but what the heck.

I was studying while it came to me.

Why not get this community going, why not make the next step and start sharing our experiences with each other.

That’s why once a month I can post your opinion, your experience.

If you have a question you can email it to me, I will post it on the blog and tell you my opinion.

People can see your question and if they have other answers or other tips they can email them to me, I can easily edit my post and put their answers next to mine.

Let’s start learning from each other, let’s start helping each other because this is what really counts.

You’re probably wondering why I would need the opinion of a 19 year old guy.

Well if I wanted to scam you I could have easily say that I’m 40...50 years old veteran and start scamming you.

But I didn’t, even if I am young I have lots of stuff to share and say.

That’s how you get experience, by talking and sharing with others and experiencing firsthand the evil and lies that people can spread.

You might wonder ‘Why would this guy bother to help me, there’s got to be a catch’.

Didn’t you help your mother with something for once in your life and when she said ‘Thank You’ you felt a warm feeling punching you in the face(In a good way :)

So once a month we can help people that need it.

Email at :questionforme@yahoo.com (I made this specially for questions so I won’t be distracted by spam and other stuff)

The topic will be called ‘Follow the sick rabbit’ and it will have a number at the end.

Example: Follow the Sick Rabbit #1

So let’s all follow that sick rabbit and guide him to a better place, a place where he will never be sick.

Heh I should make a poem :).

[Guide]For Beginners in the Blogging Business

What Is a Blog?

A blog is a website-simple as that

Ok as some of you might now there are lots of blogs created each day by people that want to write their passions or just want to earn some extra income.

Now before you go and create your own blog you should relax for a few minutes and just think on what domain you want to represent and what are your passions(What do you like, What are you good at)

For example I was good at selling stuff since I was a boy.

I was around 10 years old and at that time life was hard, we couldn’t afford everything we wanted.

But I had a bike and one of those old Pc’s, I think it was called 486(don’t know if it’s called the same in English) but you could play Dyna, volfied and other stuff.

So I started thinking, what am I good at, and it came to me ‘…Oh yea I have a Pc and a Bike, something that most people don’t have’.

I started renting my bike to people for money and turning my room into a game area and for my surprise It Worked! Ya it really worked, I started making money so I could buy chocolate and other stuff.

What do you have that other people don’t, take that into consideration before creating a blog and start writing articles.

People say it is best to choose a domain that is popular and people are interested in but I would advise you to combine both.

Where Should I Create My Blog?

-WordPress started in 2003 with a single bit of code to enhance the typography of everyday writing and with fewer users than you can count on your fingers and toes. Since then it has grown to be the largest self-hosted blogging tool in the world, used on hundreds of thousands of sites and seen by tens of millions of people every day.

Everything you see here, from the documentation to the code itself, was created by and for the community. Word Press is an Open Source project, which means there are hundreds of people all over the world working on it. (More than most commercial platforms.) It also means you are free to use it for anything from your cat’s home page to a Fortune 5 web site without paying anyone a license fee.

About WordPress.org

On this site you can download and install a software script called Word Press. To do this you need a web host who meets the minimum requirements and a little time. Word Press is completely customizable and can be used for almost anything. There is also a service called WordPress.com which lets you get started with a new and free Word Press-based blog in seconds, but varies in several ways and is less flexible than the Word Press you download and install yourself.

A Little History

Word Press was born out of a desire for an elegant, well-architectured personal publishing system built on PHP and MySQL and licensed under the GPL. It is the official successor of b2/cafelog. Word Press is fresh software, but its roots and development go back to 2001. It is a mature and stable product. We hope by focusing on user experience and web standards we can create a tool different from anything else out there.

2005 was a very exciting year for Word Press, as it saw the release of our 1.5 version (introduced themes) which was downloaded over 900,000 times, the start of hosted service WordPress.com to expand WP's reach, the founding of Automattic by several core members of the WP team, and finally the release of version 2.0.

After 1.5 we seemed to have something people really liked and we've experienced some fairly rapid growth. Here are some metrics for 2006 and 2007.

In 2006 we had 1,545,703 downloads, in 2007 we had 3,816,965!

As for plugins we had 191,567 downloads of 371 unique plugins in 2006. In 2007 there were 2,845,884 downloads (15x growth) of 1,384 plugins.

2006 saw the introduction of the first WordCamp in San Francisco.

In 2007 we adopted a regular release schedule, putting out major feature releases roughly every 3-4 months, or three times a year.

Because of the number of improvements in version 2.5 we took an extra 3 months on it, but 2008 looks on track to do three major releases again. It will be a very exciting year.

There are now dozens of WordCamps around the world, from Vancouver to Dallas to Milan, Italy.

-Blogger was started by a tiny company in San Francisco called Pyra Labs in August of 1999. This was in the midst of the dot-com boom. But we weren't exactly a VC-funded, party-throwing, foosball-in-the-lobby-playing, free-beer-drinking outfit. (Unless it was other people's free beer.)

We were three friends, funded by doing annoying contract web projects for big companies, trying to make our own grand entrance onto the Internet landscape. What we were originally trying to do doesn't matter so much now. But while doing it, we created Blogger, more or less on a whim, and thought — Hmmm... That’s kind of interesting.

Blogger took off, in a small way, and eventually a bigger way, over a couple years. We raised a little money (but stayed small). And then the bust happened, and we ran out of money, and our fun little journey got less fun. We narrowly survived, not all in one piece, but kept the service going the whole time (most days) and started building it back up.

Things were going well again in 2002. We had hundreds of thousands of users, though still just a few people. And then something no one expected happened: Google wanted to buy us. Yes, that Google.

We liked Google a lot. And they liked blogs. So we were amenable to the idea. And it worked out nicely.

Now we're a small (but slightly bigger than before) team in Google focusing on helping people have their own voice on the web and organizing the world's information from the personal perspective. Which has pretty much always been our whole deal.

So you have two Blog sites that I recommend, it’s up to you to choose which one you want.

How to Earn Money with Your Blog?

1. Advertising

Programs like AdSense and YPN are popular with bloggers and in my opinion is the most common stream of income.

They are very simple to use and require you pasting a code in your blog.

Payment is CPC ‘cost per click’

Another program I think is good too is Chitika’s eMiniMall, because it is not a contextual ad and Google doesn’t allow you to use contextual ads on the same page.

There’s also Text Ads a new popular way to sell ads.

AdBrite, Text Link Ads

The beauty of both of these systems is that they have a pool of advertisers already so you don’t have to go looking for your own advertisers.

2. Sponsorship ads

This is a form of advertising that few bloggers are using. They find their own advertisers. This is a good thing when you have a popular blog because you will receive lots of offers from private sponsors.

The key is to attract sponsors that have similar products to yours.

3.Affiliate Programs

Affiliate programs are where you take a commission for referring a reader who purchases a product or service to a company. Probably the most common of these for bloggers is Amazon which has tens of thousands of products that you can link to. Another program I recommend is FreeSiteSignUp (ref)

4. Donations

Small number of blogs has a history of making some nice money from donations.

If readers like your articles and want to help you, they donate.

How to get Traffic to your Blog

Create an account on MyBlogLog

Affiliate Marketing. Don’t Be Scared Of It.

As I was surfing the web I noticed that people are really afraid of the internet. They are afraid to make money because they think it is all one big scam.

But if you see some of my other articles it is worth making an internet business. No big risks, no employees, no stealing etc.

Moving on, there are 3 kinds of people on the internet, even in real life, the first type is the person that gets a loan, discovers a great idea to make money over night or while sleeping(I know one guy that did that) and he risks everything on that one idea and most of the time he succeeds.

The second type is the person that thinks a lot but doesn’t really act, only until they get sick and tired and finally decide to act.

And last but not least is the person that is afraid of the unknown; they don’t really have knowledge about the internet so they think it is bad.

Quoting My Parents:”…Don’t waste your time with that website, study or work because you will never make money on the internet.”

We all have it in us to make an internet business and earn money for our family. Some of us just need to think a little before acting, some people need to act instead of making promises and others just need some documentation just to understand the possibilities of the internet.

Now let’s see What Affiliate Marketing Is.

Affiliate marketing is a Web Based Marketing practice in which a business rewards an affiliate for each visitor/customer that buys something, clicks something, gets help with something etc.

It is a process of using one site to drive traffic to another. It is a form of online marketing, which is frequently overlooked by advertisers.

How Good Does it Pay?

Well it depends, but 80% of affiliate programs today use revenue sharing meaning you split the wins and losses with the seller. The rest is Cost per Action, Cost per Click or Cost per Mile.

Sites that Pay Good

Ebay

Amazon

So this concludes my info on Affiliate Marketing.

Great New Idea in Internet Marketing

I recently discovered this website through a contact of mine on another group. Its really good. Unique, free, doesn't take a lot of effort to drive traffic to your website, does not require you to add a reciprocal link on your website and even allows you to earn money from your google adsense account. It's definitely worth your while to check it out.
About Qassia
Qassia is a credit-driven intelligence engine coupled to a cascading tag-based web directory. What exactly does this mean? It means that Qassia will change your life.

Good stuff your websites will like
At Qassia, you can add your websites for free, and without having to add reciprocal backlinks. You'll get unlimited quality backlinks (as opposed to useless "no-follow" backlinks). You can also add intel. Short for "intelligence", intel is a tidbit of information. Qassia rewards users who add intel in three ways.

1. Backlinks You get one backlink for every piece of intel you add. Every intel will carry a direct backlink to one of your sites. So the more intel you add, the more backlinks you get.

2. Credit When you add intel, you also get credit, in the form of Qassia dollars. Your net worth in Qassia dollars determines how well your websites rank in our directory.

3. Revenue When your intel is displayed, you get 100% of the advertising revenue generated by that page. That is not a typo, by the way: we give you ALL of the gross ad revenue.

This means that website owners have triple incentive to contribute intel. The contributed intel will allow Qassia to become a vast repository of intelligence, with unrivalled original content. And a vast amount of original content draws traffic like honey draws ants.

Inside Intel, rather than Intel Inside
Qassia is sometimes confused with sites like Wikipedia, Squidoo, and most recently, Google knol. Qassia is fundamentally different from these sites, because Qassia is not about asking people to upload authoritative articles. You don't need to be an egghead at Qassia. You could upload a lengthy academic treatise if you want, by all means, but you can also get away with contributing a hastily scribbled tidbit of information about a person, a company, a place, an event, a thing, or anything you know about.

What we value is intelligence about the people, companies, and places around you. The people and places do not have to be famous, and the intelligence does not have to be earth-shattering.

Qassia isn't a wiki. Your intel will not get edited (it will get rated, but not edited). You can write your intel in any tone or style you like. You can write in the first person, and you can write your entire intel without using the shift key.

By asking for less, we receive more
We are sometimes asked if it is free to join and use Qassia. That makes us chuckle. Not only is Qassia 100 percent free - we do not even ask for reciprocal links - but, in addition to promoting your websites and discovering stuff, you can also earn real money - very easily and without any hassle. We have the best, most generous, and most reliable ad revenue sharing program on the web. So if you're thusly inclined - and who wouldn't be? - you'll actually get paid for the effort you put in promoting your websites. No hitch, no catch. Now, if that ain't a sweet deal, we don't know what is.

We believe that, only by completely pampering our users and giving more than any other website, and in fact giving more than the users themselves expect, can we attain our goal of becoming the most incredible website the world has ever seen.

Qassia is a new era
Think of the bits and pieces of intel as the gravel which will fill the potholes on the information superhighway. While the Wikipedia and other knowledge repositories are huge, boasting tens of thousands of articles, less than 1 percent of human knowledge has been uploaded to the Internet. At Qassia, we are giving users the incentive and the freedom to add the remaining 99.9 percent.

The vast web of intel created at Qassia will produce more than a useful intelligence engine. The advent of Qassia is a cataclysmic event in the history of the Internet. We are redefining the web experience. Come be part of history.

Should you Start An internet business?

This is a post i found by a guy named Max Davis:
'

I have a strong belief that making money on the internet is NOT for everyone!

If any of the following statements match your current situation, then you should look elsewhere to make money…

- You want a magic button to push that makes you money.

- You don’t have more than $300 to your name.

- You don’t want to work more than 1 hour per day on your business.

- You don’t have any desire to learn new things.

- You are afraid of risk.

Starting an internet business is the greatest opportunity in the world, but I think some people have this skewed perception of what a real internet business is.

I guess it’s because of all those stupid infomercials on late night tv that make it sound like you can sit at home in your underwear and watch money fly out of your company. I’m not sure where else people can the idea that it’s that simple…

Don’t get me wrong, making money online is very easy to do, but you have to put in the time, effort, money and use proven strategies to make it happen. Compared to digging ditches for a living, an internet business is a piece of cake!

Compare starting an internet business with starting a regular, brick & mortar business…

To start an internet business, you need:

- $8 for a domain name
- $10 for website hosting
- $300 for miscellaneous software, training materials, etc.
- $900 for advertising / marketing
- about 10 hours per week
- 30% chance of making nice profit
- no employees / workers comp insurance, etc
- no theft or other headaches, etc

- Total risk = Less than $2,000

To start a brick & mortar business, you need:

- $50,000+ for inventory
- $100,000+ franchise fee (if using a franchise)
- $36,000+ for first year commercial lease
- $3,000 for advertising / marketing
- about 50+ hours per week
- 30% chance of making nice profit
- $80,000/year for employee salaries & insurance
- deal with employee/customer theft, etc

- Total risk = $200,000+ and high stress

There is a dramatic difference between the two types of businesses, which is why so many people are flocking to start an internet business.

It amazes me when you hear people chatting about how it’s so hard to make money online or how expensive certain software programs are or training courses are. In reality, it’s absolutely peanuts compared to a “regular” business!

You’re either cut out for owning a business or you’re not. Don’t worry if you’re not, that’s why there is such things as JOBS. Not everyone is cut out for business ownership.

BUT, on the other hand, if you are truly fed up with your job, want to start an internet business to eventually surpass your job’s income and become truly independent, you can do it! Millions of us are making their full time income online, so obviously if we can do it, so can you.

If you don’t have any money to start your web business, your best bet would be to pick up a part time job for a couple months. Save ALL of that money from the extra job and once you have built up $1,000 or so, THEN start up your internet business. It will save you lots of headache, stress and frustration compared to starting an internet business with no money to your name. It’s hard to spend that $30 on a piece of software when you should be using that money for groceries or gas.

If you don’t want a part time job, you can try one of these 3 easy ways to make money online to get you started and help you put money aside for your internet business.
